Now that my book is available as an eBook and in paperback I have been sending out books to parties that would be interested in the story, passing it along to review sites, and posting to forums. They say all journeys begin with a single step and I’m taking those steps.
Clearly marketing is a different animal. But it is an absolute requirement if you want your work noticed. What I need are reviews and hopefully sales in the end. This will only happen if my work sticks out. And there’s the key… making it stick out for others to notice.
I am also offering 5 secure copies of my eBook in pdf format for those who wish to read and review the work (first come, first serve). BUT the reviewer must send me a copy of the review to my email (dodgewinston [at] yahoo.com) and post the review to Amazon, Smashwords, or Barnes and Noble. This helps people make the decision whether or not they want to purchase.
